Louisiana Draws the Line on ADS-B Billing

What if a technology designed to save lives quietly became a tool to collect money? Louisiana has just taken a stand—and the rest of the aviation world should be paying attention. For years, ADS-B has been promoted as one of the biggest advances in aviation safety. It allows aircraft to broadcast their precise position, altitude, speed, and direction, giving pilots and air traffic controllers far better situational awareness. It is a safety tool—not a luxury. Now, there is some encouraging news from the United States. Louisiana has officially become the third U.S. state to ban the use of ADS-B flight data for billing aircraft owners. The move follows similar legislation in North Dakota and Montana. The concern is simple: ADS-B was introduced to improve safety, but in some places the same data has started being used to generate landing or airport fees. Many pilots and aviation organizations, including the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), have argued that this creates the w...

McDonald's Veg Maharaja vs Snakkers Veg Maharaja: Which One is a Better Burger?

The only thing we Indians are good at is copying. This is a very strong statement and I can say so many weapons are already out.  Sorry folks I am also included in this, we have mastered the art of copying, and this is what I am doing too somewhere. Although there are numerous, almost endless examples, and I am going to talk about just one here. I have been to Snakkers a number of times. All their offerings are really good. Whether you want to try out vegetarian or chicken, they have multiple delicious listings. One of my favorite items they have is crispy chicken strips. Since I am the only one who consumes non-veg in my home, I have ordered 3 pieces of crispy chicken strips. This item is really good and reminds me of the chicken that is offered by KFC. The chicken is juicy and spicy too. It is worth trying out for anyone who loves chicken. But what looks like that they have copied the recipe from KFC, because the taste and smell and the look is exactly the same between KFC and Sn...

The Khyber Hotel, Shri Anandpur Sahib Review: Food, Ambience, and Service

It was another dining out date with my wife a few days back. Just like on many other occasions we decided to try out something new. Thankfully there are many new options to dine out in Shri Anandpur Sahib now, although, not every is to our liking. Attention, we said not to our liking, we did not say not to our standard, for every eating out restaurant in Anandpur Sahib is unique in its own way. Last time, when we dined out at Roots Restaurant at Shri Anandpur Sahib we were a little disappointed.  I wrote a complete article on our experience at Roots Restaurant which you can read by clicking on the link given below So, this time The Khyber Hotel came under our scanner, and boy it was a complete delight to be there. Just like the majority of the American and Canadian commercial outlets, Indian concerns too have also started erecting such sign boards which notify the presence of a facility from a long distance. The Khyber Hotel, as the road side glow sign signifies, has a party hall, ...

7 of 10 for Cafe 21 Restaurant at Shri Anandpur Sahib

Raise your hand if you don't like to eat out! If anyone claims to be so, than it is certainly not true, for there wouldn't be so many restaurants coming up. I don't remember a weekend when me and my wife had food at home! Well, it is certainly nothing to be proud of, but this is how we are. This past weekend we camped at Cafe 21 restaurant at Shri Anandpur Sahib to subside our hunger for diverse food.  After juggling through the menu we picked up two items, this is a drill in which 99% of the time I come first. I should say my wife come second, not the last, to avoid her from obvious shame!! Anyways, we picked up a paneer grilled taco and veg. burger.  So after ordering the stuff it barely took 5 minutes for the first dish to arrive on our table. I would call this ETA to be under standard test conditions as there was none else dining at that time. The first item to come on our table was the veg burger, and I must say that I liked how it was served. I mean the plate was cute...
