Laser Strikes on Aircraft: A Few Seconds of Fun Can Put Hundreds of Lives at Risk

There are some things that look harmless from the ground but can become extremely dangerous when viewed from the cockpit of an aircraft. A laser pointer is one of them. For someone standing on the ground, pointing a laser at an aircraft flying overhead may appear to be a harmless prank, an experiment, a way of attracting attention or simply an act of curiosity. But inside the cockpit, particularly during takeoff, approach or landing, that apparently tiny beam can suddenly become a serious aviation-safety threat. The latest figures released by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) show that the problem is declining, but it remains far too common. On September 17, 2026, the FAA reported that pilots had reported 4,470 laser strikes in the United States during 2026, representing a 24 percent decrease from the same period the previous year. Wild Wild Punjab Take You on a Wild Drive with a Bitter Lesson for Heartbreakers

On Saturday weekend, me and my wife watched the movie Wild Wild Punjab..

The name kind of resemble Wild Wild West that was starred by Will Smith few years back.


It was my decision to watch this movie. After a long time, I decided to watch a Hindi movie.

It is not a completely Hindi movie, rather a mix of both Hindi and Punjabi. The creator of the movie made a sensible choice with language to cater to both type of audience.

I must say it is one of the best Hindi movie that I have watched since ages.

The most amazing part was the ending of the movie. It was not a completely good good happy ending, rather an ending that logically should have been as per the storyline.

It is a light hearted comedy movie and yes it can be watched with kids for except for few double meaning humor, the movie overall runs smoothly.

The fact that kids of today's age knows everything, there is nothing in the movie that can be said outwordly.

Varun Sharma has acted well, even though, I have watched his movie for the first time.

The climax scene between Varun Sharma and Asheema Vardaan said it all.

I thank the director Simarpreet Singh for having such climax. It is a lesson for all those who ditch true love for money and promotion in their career.

It is quite daring from the director that it was decided to show a bitter lesson in the climax rather than a happy ending.

Asheema Vardaan looked hot in the pink wedding gown, unfortunately the character played by her let her down.
